Slawn Figures

A series of collectible sculptures by Nigel VMU, developed as the final stage of a multi-layered design system.

Originally introduced through the Slawn x Nike Air Max 90 project, the characters first existed as 35-foot inflatables within Think Big!, before evolving into physical installations at Dover Street Market. This edition translates that same visual language into a refined, collectible form.

Across three designs, the figures capture distinct moments — two wearing the Slawn x Nike Air Max 90, and one holding it — shifting the sneaker from functional object into sculptural artefact. Slawn’s expressive painted faces are reinterpreted through Nigel VMU’s sculptural language, transforming gesture into permanence.

Produced as a limited edition of 300 pieces per design, the works sit between toy and sculpture, translating a collaborative cultural moment into a form that can be held, collected, and lived with.
