Nike Air Max SNDR Table for the OffSpring King’s Cross Community Store
I was enlisted by OffSpring & Nike as a creative artist to reimagine SNDR through a 90s digital lens. The 90s were known for their bright colors and blocky digital graphics, which became the foundation for my design.
Drawing inspiration from the vibrant energy of 90s digital culture and creative style of blending art, sculpture and objects, I designed this table as a tribute to the era’s iconic aesthetics. The legs, constructed from life-sized Nike Air Max Sunder sneakers, are anchored by bold, block-lettered ‘Airmax’ text—a nod to the early block computer graphics that defined the time.
By using a concrete-like material for the tabletop, I sought to merge the raw, industrial feel of the 90s with the futuristic optimism of 1999. This piece captures the essence of a pivotal moment in design, where fashion, technology, and art intersected through the lens of digital innovation.
